Travel Nurse RN - Oncology In Wilmington, NC

Position: Registered Nurse (Oncology) Shift:

Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) , NC Duration: 13 weeks Description: This position requires administering chemotherapy and caring for high acuity adult and geriatric patients with various medical-surgical diagnoses. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience, BLS certification, and chemotherapy administration certification (ONC cert preferred but not required for travelers). Charge nurse experience and CPI certification preferred.

Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as DKA, AKI, sepsis, cancer, septic shock, pain management, overdose, malignant neoplasms, ARF, encephalopathy, FTT, and diabetic foot ulcers Maintain patient ratios of 1:6-7 Utilize unit systems including PYXIS for medication, EPIC for documentation, and SBAR for communication hcc Shrishti Teotia Recruitment Specialist Phone: (551) 363-0851 Email: .
