TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Slidell, Louisiana, 70461 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 3 Days per Week Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Specialty License: Compact or Louisiana License at Submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Pyxis and Epic experience required
Experience in the following: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry (on-unit and remote), colostomy care, feeding tube care, and PICC line management Job Description: - Work either Christmas or Thanksgiving and New Year's.
Average daily patient census: 18-22 - Patient ratio: 1 to 5/6 - Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
Orientation hours: 8
Must comply with medical and religious exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccines
Must reside over 65 miles from the facility
No local travelers accepted
Charge RN references are not acceptable. Provide two Manager/Supervisor references to start the contract.
AHA certifications are required.
Nurses in specific areas must have the required certifications or obtain them before the start.
Updated NURSYS reports required within four weeks of submission.
