TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in East Providence, Rhode Island, 02914 About The Position Weekly Pay Range - $2025 To $2250 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Hospice Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health or Hospice experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have:

• Recent Hospice experience

• Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) used within the last 6 months

• Proficiency in OASIS used within the last year

• Reliable transportation with current driver's license and liability insurance

• Willingness to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic

• Home Health Checklist required Job Description:

• Provide, coordinate, and direct the provision of home nursing care according to physicians' orders based on agency policies and procedures.

• Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.

• Perform home visits and attend periodic office meetings.

• Typically handle an average of 5-8 patients per day, completing various types of cases such as Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits.

• It is required to be open to on-call rotations, which vary by location.

• Local applicants are accepted at the same rate.

• Must be open to being floated to nearby clinics if unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census.

• The job requires travel expenses to be reimbursed at the IRS Standard rate for patient home visits only.
