Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg In Columbus, OH

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Medical Surgical setting License: Must have a valid compact or state nursing license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification Must-Have: - Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting.

• Flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.

• Availability for weekdays, some weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-5.

• Complete a mandatory orientation of 24 hours.

• Adherence to strict compliance deadlines and fingerprinting process for credentialing.

• Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only allowed.

• Commitment to the onboarding process, including compliance with travel and credentialing requirements for candidates located outside the local radius. Please note that local candidates within a specified radius are accepted at the same rate, and former employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a defined period away from the facility.
