Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results.

This role involves working 8-hour shifts with start times that vary between 0600, 0700, and 0800, as well as being on-call every third weekend. Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures using gamma cameras and other related equipment. • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor their effects. • Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning for nuclear medicine examinations. • Process and analyze images and data to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. • Maintain and operate nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. • Follow all safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and the public. • Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures in compliance with regulatory standards. • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns. • Participate in on-call duties every third weekend, providing essential services as needed. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Qualifications: Required Certifications: • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) Verification • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) Verification Education and Experience: • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field. • Current and valid state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, if applicable. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology preferred. Skills and Abilities: • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety standards. • Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment and imaging software. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to work variable start times and handle on-call responsibilities.
