Start Date: 9/13/2021

Shift Details: Variable 8hr Shifts ( 12:00 AM-12:00 PM )

40 hours per week

  • At least two years clinical laboratory experience required

  • ASCP certification preferred

  • Valid Minnesota license-if applicable

If hired prior to 11/4/2010, ASCP certification as MLT is not required.# Those hired without valid certification are encouraged to take the first available examination after their date of hire and pass this certifying exam within three (3) consecutive administrations of the exam within twelve (12) months of hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: N/A Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of lab safety practices; knowledge of all lab departments state of the art policies and procedures; knowledge of general lab test results and correlation#s with physiological condition; ability to maintain and repair instrumentation and equipment; ability to understand and follow complex oral and written communication; extensive ability to perform duties accurately, efficiently while often under stress; ability to organize work and meet deadlines; ability to be technically adept in all departments of the laboratory; ability to be rigidly accurate in the identification and reporting of numbers, names and results. # READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
