Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are currently seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. As a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to travel to different locations across the country while delivering exemplary patient care in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans based on individual needs
• Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics and self-care techniques
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
• Stay updated with nursing best practices and participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare software
• Familiarity with nursing principles, procedures, and protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements

Pay Rate: $1,280-$1360@40hrs Weekly

Desired Start Date: ASAP 

Length of Assignment: 8weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Time Schedule: 3:00PM-11:30PM

Weekend Rotation: None

 License Required:PA license

Certificates Required: BLS & ACLS

Housing Assistant: Provided

Sign on bonus on second paycheck: $200
