Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker In Southgate, MI

Job Title: Social Worker Job Specialty: Adult Behavioral Health Job Duration: Shift: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Experience: A minimum of two years treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred. License: Must possess a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with LMSW, LLP, or LPC licensure from the state. All state licensure must remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action. Certifications: Must be eligible for a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the time of hire and a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire. Must possess a CAADC credential or be on an active, approved registered certification development plan within six weeks of hire. Must-Have:

• Exceptional clinical assessment, client engagement, and intervention skills.

• Competency in collaborating with clients, family members, agency staff, and community partners.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Orientation toward providing community outreach services.

• Ability to effectively manage crisis situations.

• Nonjudgmental approach with cultural competency and sensitivity to the diverse experiences of individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.

• Possession of a chauffeur's license and meeting driving eligibility requirements. Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive psycho-social assessment, treatment planning, therapy, community-based support, and advocacy to adults with serious mental illness and their families.

• Work in collaboration with the team and other community providers to facilitate efficient and effective operation of the program, adhering to fidelity standards.

• Assist with the orientation training of team members and co-facilitate team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention, on-call crisis coverage, and clinical consultation to other on-call staff as needed.

• Travel reimbursement available when a personal vehicle is used, based on IRS standards.
