Travel Coordinator

Location: Provo, Utah

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a global Travel Coordinator to support our SUSE business and enable us to operate successfully as a standalone SUSE team following the acquisition of SUSE by EQT (subject to regulatory approval).

Role description

Our Travel Coordinator will arrange corporate travel plans for all employees and will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinating with travel agencies and suppliers to schedule flights, rental cars, train and hotel accommodations

  • Working closely with the procurement team to set up agreements with air, train, hotel, car hire, taxi companies etc

  • Communicating travel information to employees and resolving any scheduling problems

  • Ownership of the travel policy and monitoring of adherence to policy

  • Provision of training/guidance on best use of travel programmes and policy requirements

  • Working on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative

  • Understanding implications of work and making recommendations for solutions

  • Service oriented, experienced onsite corporate agent for corporate clientele

  • Manages and updates on any travel disruption

  • Maintains regular contact with travel provider

  • Provides reports on travel programme opportunities

  • Reports on out-of-travel-policy incidents

  • Coordinates with travellers on Visa requirements

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Skills and experience required

  • Significant Corporate Agency experience

  • Proficient and knowledgeable in current online booking software programs and MS Office suite.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Team player and flexibility to deal with ongoing change

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within time constraints.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills are required to work in this dynamic environment

  • GDS/CRS experience is a benefit

  • High attention to detail

  • Understanding on Visa and Passport queries

Develop and manage project schedules at least 3 weeks out and continue to monitor and update the project schedule as needed. ? Maintain equipment log of construction rental equipment ?
