• Registered Nurse Telemetry Number of positions: 1 Shift: Night shifts- 40 hours Duration: 16 weeks Start Date: 07/06/2023 Hourly pay: $51.66 OT: 1.5 Weekly Pay : $1,858 JOB DESCRIPTION Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  
  Unit Capacity: 24 Beds Population Served: Pre and Post Cardiac Surgery, Acute Coronary Syndrome, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, unstable arrhythmias and other related cardiac disorders. Ages of Patients Served:
  
  Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 5:1 Department: Telemetry Shift Timing: 06:45 - 19:15 Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  
  Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. Required minimum of 1 year of cardiovascular experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing required Requirements:
  
  COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  
  Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  
  A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
