Compensation : $95 - $95 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : JX22002789768 Start Date : 08/06/2023 End Date : 11/11/2023 Security Clearance : None Primary Skill : EPIC,PROBLEM-SOLVING,PATIENT CARE,RN,STERILE Need is for 40 or 48 hours/week variable days, including short call, weekends, and rotation to 2-weeks of off-shifts. Operating Room / Perioperative Nurses offer the skills needed to provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.

The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field. Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.

QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Operating Room experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Massachusetts state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
