• Emergency Room Number of positions: 1 Shift: Night shifts- 36 hours Duration: 16 weeks Start Date: 07/04/2023 Hourly pay: $59.75 OT: 1.5 Weekly Pay : $2,151 JOB DESCRIPTION Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  
  Department: Emergency Department Shift Timings: 15:00 - 03:00 Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  
  Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team Unit Capacity: 36 Beds Population Served: Adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients.
  
  Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6 Core Staffing Plan QUALIFICATIONS Associate Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. One to three years of Emergency Room RN experience BLS/ACLS Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required Certification National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Requirements:
  
  COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  
  Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  
  Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  
  A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
