Position Title: Trauma Sales Representative

What you will do

As a Trauma Sales Representative, you work with a high degree of intensity and commitment to sell Stryker Trauma products that meet our customers' needs. You are responsible for becoming the resident trauma expert as you work with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. You live your work, feeding off the extreme demands of trauma, not counting hours but rather lives impacted. A person who is energized by chaos, you organize your materials and sort possible solutions quickly during operating/emergency room consultations. You take great pride in meticulously managing and maintaining your inventory of products and are prepared to assist a customer whenever the need arises. Your knowledge not only of your own products, but of competitors' offerings, builds credibility with surgeons. They trust you to provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives. As a Trauma Sales Representative who does what is necessary and live out your mission to change lives by selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)

  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems

  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)

  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial)

  • Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments

  • Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required

  • Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures

VIEW JOBS 2/11/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-11T00:00 The On Premise Field Sales Representative will be the direct link between Golden Road Brewing, our wholesaler and on premise accounts within the Orange County territory, calling on our Straub wholesaler. The position is a full time position with health insurance from day 1, 401k, trade spend, and a very competitive benefits package. Job Responsibilities * Maintain retail call frequency to include: detailed selling process, maintain inventory levels, building and restocking, permanent point of sale placements, selling in additional taps, rotate product, planning promotion activities, and follow-up on delivery issues * Introduce and sell in new beer brands and packages including activities to support sell through, as necessary. Complete required paperwork/ computer tracking such as: Account Level objectives tracking, expense reports, tracking forms, surveys and work orders. Establish and monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss). Communicate with all departments as necessary * Review target account analysis and reports to ensure Golden Road brands are performing at top of class levels for all assigned accounts * Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, sales data tools, changes in climate, competitive activity and special promotional activities. Maintain all required information in tracking system. * Ability to coordinate brand information, supply POS material and keep lines of communication open with wholesaler network in order to better sell through products * Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary This position covers the Straub territory in Orange County. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferred * 5-7 years experience in Sales or Promotions in beverage alcohol industry experience preferred; CPG sales also considered. * Strong verbal communication skills * Demonstrable time management and organizational skills * Knowledge of beer/alcohol industry Preferred Qualifications * Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone * Willingness to learn, strong people skills and quick relationship builder.
