Trauma Nurse Practitioner Full Time Nights

POSITION SUMMARY

The ARNP is an advanced practice nurse who works collaboratively with the trauma surgeons within the Trauma Service, providing clinical management in the diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of trauma patients across the continuum of care, utilizing critical thinking skills in the provision of safe and high quality care.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Masters of Science in Nursing

Experience: 2-3 yrs

License Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner/Family NP

Certification: '

• BLS / ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)
• PALS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) within 90 days of hire
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum) within 90 days of hire and maintained until
• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) acquired.
• ATLS within 365 days of hire
