About our Facility:
TriStar StoneCrest proudly serves Rutherford County Tennessee and surrounding communities. Our 109-bed hospital offers complete medical care for adults and children, including emergency, surgical, maternity, imaging, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedic, physical medicine, sleep medicine and oncology services. Our medical staff of about 500 physicians includes more than 45 specialties. Many of our physicians have offices on or near the hospital campus. Collaborates with the Trauma Medical Director to establish trauma program goals and objectives consistent with those of the hospital and ensure that those of the trauma service are being met.
Manages, as appropriate, the operational, personnel and financial aspects of the Trauma Program.
Assesses the needs for policies, procedures, protocols, supplies and equipment relating to the care of trauma patients in coordination with the Trauma Medical Director, hospital administration and clinicians.
Assists the Trauma Medical Director in the development, implementation and evaluation of a quality and process improvement plan that is multidisciplinary and focused on patient outcomes.
Serves as internal resource for staff in all departments to network in order to provide high-quality trauma patient care.
Participates in the development of trauma care systems at the community, state and/or national levels.
Represents the Trauma Program on various hospital and community committees to enhance and foster optimal trauma care management.
Manages input into the Trauma Registry.
Directs community trauma education and prevention programs by developing, implementing and evaluating programs for targeted populations in the city and surrounding communities related to injury prevention, as well as other topics identified through a needs assessment for the community.

RN license in state of Tennessee
BSN, (MSN preferred)
Currently certified in TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS. Other not required CALS, CATN or ATCN.
Three years clinical experience in trauma/emergency care.
Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Ability to accept and implement change.
Ability to problem solving make decisions.
Possession of critical thinking, analytical, teaching/coaching and research skills
