Description: Transportation Supervisor-Trainer

Location: Transportation

Hours: 8 hours per day/ 5 days per week/ 220 days per year

Salary Range: $53,651 to $60,272

Job Summary: Under general supervision, supervise all aspects of daily pupil transportation operations and

provide excellent customer service that focuses on safe and efficient transportation of students. Supervise,

schedule/assign work to and evaluate all assigned personnel, and oversee employee training programs. Serve in

the place of the Director of Transportation in their absence.

Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience:

1.High School Diploma or equivalent

2.Three (3)-five (5) years experience as a school bus driver

3.One (1) year experience as a school bus driver trainer

4.One (1) year experience as a State of Nevada OMV Third Party Certifier, preferred; or ability to obtain

within one (1) year

Licenses and Certifications:

1.Valid CDL class A or B with a Passenger and School Bus Endorsement

2.Possess a current DOT medical examiner's certificate

3.Possess a State of Nevada Department of Education Bus Driver Certification

4.Licenses and certificates must be maintained for the duration of assignment

Screening and Compliance:

1.Ability to pass State and Federal criminal background check

2.Compliance with NCSD Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy

3.Ability to travel throughout the District as needed

Working Conditions:

Desk, computers, and supplies as needed. Various computers, printers, televisitions, VCR's

as necessary to carry out the functions of the position descriptions.
