Job Description
Right-of-Way & Utilities Division, Appraisal Branch, Central Office 200 NE 21st Street, OKC, OK 73105
JOB DUTIES:
This position will facilitate the appraisal process for all Right-of-Way projects in the 8-year work plan for the Right-of-Way & Utilities Division. This position requires a level of responsibility for processing/reviewing all appraisals and reviewing appraisals for all right-of-way projects.
The process consists of contracting, reviewing appraisals and review appraisals, cost estimates, managing project schedules, processing all necessary appraisal documents, and tracking project progress for all Right-of-Way within the 8-year work plan. Effectively utilize relevant policy and procedures, uniform acts, personnel functions, training, and project management. This position will be responsible for reporting solutions and/or problems to the Chief and Assistant Chief, Right-of-Way & Utilities Division prior to appraisal processing to generate property owner offers.

Effectively utilize relevant policy and procedures, personal functions, training, project management, and contract administration. Qualify, select, manage, and evaluate consultant services for turnkey services.
Education and Experience
Level II:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in transportation-related work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting two college courses in mathematics, natural science, engineering or a closely related field for the year of the required experience.
Level III:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in transportation-related work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 30 semester hours for each year of the required experience, including two college courses in mathematics, natural science, engineering or a closely related field.
Preference: Associate's Degree to pursue a residential appraisal license or Bachelor's Degree to pursue a certified general appraisal license.
