Job Description:

The purpose of this job is to support the Transportation Safety team bycoordinating and completing various administrative functions and duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Track U.S. and Canadian hours of service (HOS)compliance; audit logs and generate reports for management

  • Track all equipment inspections performed by lawenforcement on the company fleet; input findings into appropriate managementsystems

  • Process fines and citations incurred by Driversrelated to company equipment violations

  • Respond to all inquiries for employmentverifications on former company Drivers

  • Coordinate Driver incentive rewards program

  • Process Driver payroll by auditing exceptionsand sending completed payroll file to Payroll department

  • Order, maintain inventory, and distributesupplies for cross-drop prevention program

  • Model behaviors that support the company'scommon purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highestlevel

  • Ensure all work activities are in compliancewith rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificaterequired

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in businesspreferred

  • Minimum one year prior experience in thetrucking industry with knowledge of U.S. HOS preferred

  • Comfortable with a large call volume

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, emphasis on Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to communicate effectively with alllevels of the organization and with a diverse work team

  • Ability to apply critical thinking andsituational analysis skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Excellent organization and time managementskills

  • Ability to prioritize based upon immediate andlong term needs of the region and company

  • Excellent written and verbal communication andlistening skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in afast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications and skills: * Bachelor's Degree * 7+ Years of experience in transportation (preferred) and/or supply chain. Experience working with carriers is preferred, Candidates wit warehouse/distribution experience will be considered if they have a strong understanding how transportation works.
