POSITION: TRANSPORTATION ROUTING SPECIALIST

SALARY: $50,000 - $59,000 (BASED ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)

Qualifications:

• Must undergo a successful background check (BCI/FBI) and drug screening

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Post-secondary training in a transportation field is desirable.

• Holds or is qualified to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a school bus endorsement and a passenger endorsement. A satisfactory driving record is a condition of initial and continued employment. Meets all bus driver minimum qualifications.

• Knowledge of Ohio Department of Education/Ohio Highway Patrol regulations related to student transportation.

• Ohio Pupil Transportation Operation and Safety Rules as written in Ohio Revised Code and the provisions of State and Federal Law including the new FMCSA ELDT Regulations and Federal Queries.

• Meets all mandated health requirements

• Computer skills and knowledge of transportation software (ex: Transfinder, Wayfinder, Stopfinder, SchoolDude) is required.

• Knowledge of dispatching is preferred.

• Additional qualifications as the Board of Education may require.
