The Schneider organization has an immediate need for Transportation Representative to provide frontline support to our drivers. As a Transportation Representative you will select and assign freight to maximize profitability. Accountabilities include continually seeking ways to improve the day to day processes, increasing efficiencies, reducing waste and valuing the orange assets. With a safety emphasis, you will ensure customer requirements are met while building a strong working relationship with your team. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Select and assign freight with sufficient resources to meet and exceed the customer's requirements while effectively balancing capacity fleet needs

  • Ensure accurate and timely status information is updated in appropriate tracking systems

  • Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with drivers, internal associates and the customer you support

  • Identifies and works with the Account Manager to resolve potential customer service, cargo claim, maintenance and equipment issues

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Minimum of a college degree or two years industry experience

  • Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience is a plus

  • Advanced technical/computer skills with the ability to use at least 3 to 4 different programs simultaneously

  • Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude

  • Creative problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced team environment or independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

Assists the Call Center Quality Assurance & Training Manager with- call monitoring process, evaluation frequency, feedback, and coaching process. Assists with the delivery of training and development programs for all Call Center locations. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of pertinent regulations and internal policies and procedures Key Accountabilities: * Provides support to the Call Center Quality Assurance & Training Manager with the administration of the Call Center Quality Assurance Strategy. Responsible for delivering a best-in-class quality monitoring and coaching program. Assists with maintaining a well-executed monitoring process that ensures a high level of service quality through all communication channels. Responsible for evaluation frequency, coaching process, and reward and recognition initiatives for all Call Center locations. 40% * Assists with the maintenance and delivery of the Call Center network training program. Trains Call Center team members in the ability to identify member needs and cross-promote appropriate Berkshire Bank products. Maintains and assists in the development of training materials, course and workshop presentations to support ongoing initiatives and training programs necessary to successfully integrate new employees in the Call Center network. Ensures training documentation is maintained for regulatory compliance. Assists with Call Center training for special projects and campaigns. Assists and participates on project teams for acquisitions and mergers. 30% * Serves as a point person for new staff members in conjunction with Call Center Managers. Conducts periodic individual and group meetings to coach, inform, motivate, and train representatives in support of delivering a consistently exceptional customer experience. 20% * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in call center operations management; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in special projects and support teams. 10% * Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.Ensures Education: * Associate degree required, Bachelor's a plus Experience: * Minimum 1-year banking experience * Minimum 2 years' Call Center experience Skills & Knowledge: * Customer service/sales skills * Proven track record of working in high traffic call centers and meeting quality and sales goals * Experience in creating and implementing call center performance improvement programs * Proven leadership and interpersonal skills plus a demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and motivate staff * Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to make timely decisions while functioning in a fast-paced changing work environment * Ability to juggle multiple priorities, follow through on projects, and meet deadlines * Ability to interface with all levels of staff and customers * Ability to travel between all Call Center Locations Berkshire Bank Westfield MA
