HDR is looking for a Transportation Project Manager to work with a team of professionals in planning and designing highway and roadway projects that make a difference in our community. The candidate will apply a diversified knowledge of transportation engineering and design principals to a range of projects both locally and in support of other HDR locations. The candidate will interface with project stakeholders, public and clients at project meetings and public open houses.

Position Snapshot The Transportation Project Manager is responsible for implementing cost effective, efficient, and on-time delivery routing strategies for each Service Center within US Ecology. Day in the Life After booting up your computer and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to: * * Actively participate in implementation of transportation software (RoadNet) training to service centers and/or team members as required * * Identify and create transportation metrics for the organization * * Creates and update standard operating procedures related to transportation software * * Acts as a subject matter expert/liaison for software program for the company * * Supports Sales and Operations teams with route reviews and provide improvement action plans accordingly * * Assess current staff training needs and executes cross training program * * Resolves technical problems, analyzes costs, and recommends cost control measures * * Provides oversight and feedback on route/driver performance with an emphasis on productivity, efficiency and service delivery * * Assists with new customer roll-outs, planning, scheduling, routing and equipment needs * * Assists customer service department in resolving transportation related issues What you need to apply * * Bachelor's degree or technical school studies preferred * * Basic understanding of RoadNet/Omnitracs Transportation Suite preferred * * Proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project, MS Outlook, and MS Access * * Ability to travel <50%* Minimum of 5 years' experience with DOT regulations</li> For your hard work * * Tuition reimbursement after six months * * Opportunity for professional growth * * Employer paid certifications and training * * Medical, Dental, Vision * * 401k with company match * * Paid Time Off * * Cash Recognition Programs * * Find out more at US Ecology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
