•  Assist with Transportation management and program monitoring.

•  Efficiently manage the auditing process for the Transportation Department within the Medicaid program.

•  Assist the program manager with resolving programmatic issues by researching and reviewing Transportation benefits and policies.

•  Assist the program manager with policy development by researching other state Medicaid program benefits and policies.

•  Assist the program manager with special projects.

•  Assist the program manager with researching and composition of legislative reports.

•  Collaborates with LDH staff, other programs and State agencies, on transportation policy development, planning and implementation.

•  Participate in workgroups, public meetings, and other activities as directed.

•  Participate in disaster relief activities at the request of the Medicaid Program, LDH or UNO.

•  Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Required Qualifications:

•  Bachelor Degree

•  Minimum 2 years of professional experience

•  Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

•  Strong computer and research skills.

Desired Qualifications:

•  Advanced degree.

•  Bachelor's Degree in public health, health policy, or other health related field.

•  Minimum 3 years of professional experience.

•  Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with program/policy research and/or documentation.

•  Minimum 1 year of professional experience in transportation field, Medicaid policy, or Medicaid program support.
