Job Title: Transportation Coordinator
Job Summary
Essential Job Functions
Plans and coordinates all scheduling activities related to transportation for MJH / PACE participants
Supervises daily the activities of the Drivers
Provides Human Resources Management in conjunction with the Transportation Manager of Drivers
Responsible for coordination of all outside service providers of transportation
Monitors drivers and ensures the safe operation of company vehicles
Assures all necessary program records are maintained according to policy
Completes other job duties related to the care and well-being of MJH PACE participants as assigned
Participates in department meetings and in-services as necessary

Experience:
Licenses/Certifications:
Current Florida Driver's License Class A, B or C with passenger endorsement preferred
Proof of car insurance
Abilities Required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Dade and Broward County streets
Ability to deal with physical and emotionally frail, elderly and/or disabled persons
Ability to get in and out of the buses constantly to assist passengers
Must attend and pass safety driving program annually, and maintain good driving record
Operates equipment to assist disabled persons
