Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitors performance and guides implementation of continuous improvement strategies.

  • Supports governance methodology implementation.

  • Facilitates budget planning and performs financial analysis and forecasting.

  • Tracks historical information.

  • Conducts business process reviews and investigates opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies.

  • Maintains positive relationships the client.

  • Assists with billing and task order management

  • Supports the Jacobs Program Manager as needed

  • Researches and tracks future project opportunities with Jacobs Program Manager


  • At least 6 years experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Project Management experience

  • Able to work autonomously

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

  • Promote Jacobs quality control practices

The Role Assistant Project Manager The assistant project manager role is client facing. The right person will be responsible for the appointment and management of the extended professional teams of local and international consultants and contractors. Your Responsibilities Will Include: * Managing, controlling, monitoring and reporting of A&E consultants, general contractors and a broad variety of stakeholders within our client's organization. * Monitoring appropriate project operating procedures and systems, specifically ensuring management plan is being followed and adhered to. * Ensuring safe project working practices are adhered to for all site personnel. * Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority throughout all stages of the project's life cycle. * Attending site progress meetings and report on weekly project and commercial progress. * Ensuring invoices and timesheets are submitted on time. Your Experience, Knowledge and Skills Need to Include: * Previous work experience with a project/program management consultancy. * Complete understanding of design, construction and cost programs. * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent influencing and negotiating skills. * Competency in using of Microsoft Office suite programs. * Detailed knowledge and appreciation of health and safety.
