Salary: $60-$67,000.00 DOE

Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm (1st Shift)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Transportation Analyst works under general direction and guidance of the Warehouse Manager and or Assistant Warehouse Manager and is responsible for evaluating and upgrading the efficiency of APG transportation and supply chain network. In this role, you will collect and interpret logistics data, evaluate transit efficiency, identify streamlined transportation methods, draft statistical reports, and develop business case presentations. The Transportation Analyst role requires strong attention to detail with a natural affinity for analytics, as well as the ability to quickly identify logistics bottlenecks and develop cost-effective solutions to improve efficiencies.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct transportation data analytics and cost research

• Manage cost and benefit analysis for distribution/supply chain projects

• Oversee transportation network/carrier performance

• Prepare monthly reports on operational and financial metrics

• Develop metrics for transportation analysis

• Conduct financial and variance analysis for expenses, services, and quality

• Provide recommendations based on data analysis and research

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Logistics, or related field (preferred).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years' work experience as a Transportation Analyst or similar role OR combination of education and work-related experience

• Experience working with state-of-the-art fulfillment operations and warehouse management systems

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and project management skills

• Advanced report writing skills with thorough understanding of SQL (preferred)

• High mathematical aptitude
