JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Director of Patient Support Services, the Linen & Internal Transport Manager is responsible for the daily management of the patient support department. Responsibilities include the hiring, training and evaluation of staff, and administrator of all department software systems.

Creates and adheres to department budget. Working manager will train and fill in for staff as needed. Creates and maintains daily work assignments and weekly work schedules.

Models excellent customer service and addresses customer issues. Completes additional tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Maintain a valid Vermont driver's license with clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

CPR/AED certification preferred or can obtain within six months of employment. Must be familiar with basic computer programs.

Previous health care experience preferred. Two to five years supervisory experience preferred.
