Responsible for delivery and unloading milk products to retail customers, counting milk products for accurate delivery and inventory, and completing delivery paperwork by performing the following duties and compliance with applicable D. O. T. regulations.
Verify shipment accuracy and assure saleable condition of product.
Transact proper documentation in computerized hand-held device or paper.
Resolve discrepancies and communicate major issues to Supervisor.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Learn and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
Follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures, and report any deficiencies.
Performs MVIs (Motor Vehicle Inspections) on truck to conform to D.O.T. regulations and company policy. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Must be courteous toward customers, be able to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, maintain neat appearance and follow established policies and directions of supervisor.
Must be able to work safely in a constant state of alertness.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:

Must possess and maintain CDL-A with at least an Air Brake endorsement.
High School Diploma or GED preferred; two years related experience
Experience within food and beverage handling preferred.
Must be able to drive, sit, operate/inspect vehicle, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend required for the entire shift. Able to balance and pull product, climb in and out of truck
Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds above six feet, pull/push 300 pounds with hand-held hook.
Must be able to take hand truck loads of 300 pounds of milk product up and down customer steps when required. Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, fine hand manipulation and kneeling.
Temperature range includes outdoors, indoors and cargo areas from 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Must operate hand-held and truck-mounted computer and refrigeration equipment.
Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise, sometimes slippery floors.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal).
Must have a clean driving record.
