Availability to travel within North America
Direct experience in the development, design, engineering, and construction of High Voltage Transmission line (7+ years)
• Experience creating transmission design standards in Microsoft Suite
• Valid driver`s license
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural EngineeringPreferred:
• Engineering/ experience
• and/or P.E.
• Experience with PLS-CADD, Auto-CAD, Primavera, and other softwareResponsibilities:
• Manage the design for assigned transmission generation tie lines for Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage, and for stand-alone transmission line from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution).
• Work with the Early-Stage to define and influence the requirements and scope with the Development Group.
• Secure engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids and awarding work through Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Group.
• Coordinate with other stakeholders to develop and secure a route, and secure the and permits needed to design and build the line, including geotechnical and lidar .
• Coordinate the engineering deliverables in of competitive proposals, as well as design and construction of .Why apply?
