Job Title: Transmission Line Engineer

Job Description

As a Transmission Line Engineer, you will design transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 765kV. Your tasks will include performing structural analysis and design of various structures such as pole, lattice, framed, and guyed structures. Additionally, you will conduct foundation designs, select conductors, and perform shielding, grounding, and induction studies. You will also develop cost estimates, prepare schedules, and specify procurement specifications for transmission line materials and construction. Moreover, you will model transmission lines using PLS-CADD, determine right of way requirements, calculate conductor sags, and develop transmission line plan and profile drawings. Reviewing vendor submittals will also be part of your responsibilities.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Englewood, Colorado and some days remote.
