Transloading Warehouse Operator (Em6715)

Position Summary:

Samsung SDS America is seeking a qualified coordinator, Supply Chain Planning. This role will establish clear vision to all logistics planning activities for the logistics cycle of all Samsung products from manufacturing shipping to Samsung warehouses and to our customers. The position ensures the smooth operations of the Transload by the management of individual shipments in transit, the determination of shipping methods, the management of delivery and documentation and the processing of claims through phone and personal contact with logistics colleagues at our business partners, internal partners, and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Track direct ship and Hub Operation from the Laredo Transload facility. Confirm on-time departures from Laredo warehouses (W/H).
• Inbound forecasting data notice to Trans loading warehouse.
• Border Crossing Status checking from Inbound Trailers & Containers.
• Track Over-The-Road (OTR) and rail container movements.
• Monitor border crossing statuses and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Respond to Immediate Response Required situations effectively. (IRRE Response)
• Validate IOD & POD and handle associated processes in daily process.
• Monitoring Inbound delivery at Laredo warehouse, Empty pickup, Outbound pickup, Dispatch plan
• Work closely and coordinate measures with trans loading warehouse including: Transload capacity planning, KPI management, and bottle neck management
• Manage volume in and out of the trans-loading center, planning resources based on production, inbound, and outbound.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, particularly in the transportation sector
• 3+ years in transportation (Border Crossing & Warehouse) and Logistics Fields
• Strong understanding of Laredo logistics operations and border crossing procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
