Our District is a K-12 school district located in Redding, CA. Our primary mission as a district is to educate the whole child - emotionally, physically, and academically. In order to qualify for a Transitional Kindergarten teaching position, the candidate must hold one of the following: • At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both • Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described above • Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing • Written verification that the candidate was assigned to teach TK, or a combination of kindergarten and TK, on or before July 1, 2015. An invitation to complete the Teacher Sketch will be received upon completion of the application. Please attach all documents to your Edjoin application in pdf format. Applications that do not include all required documents will not be considered. Teachers who meet the TK teaching requirements, are assigned TK students and work 65% or more of the school year will receive an annual $1,000 stipend to be paid at the end of the school year.
