Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS Experience: Six (6) months field work with preschool and/or elementary school aged children. Education: Associates degree or above from an accredited college/university

• OR - Awarded high school diploma or GED equivalent PLUS transcript showing completion of 48 semester units from an accredited college. Units in early childhood education preferred.
  
  Immunization Requirements: Proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles is required. Refer to California Code, Health and Safety Code

• HSC § 1596.7995 APPLICATION PROCEDURES: All applicants, including applicants presently employed by the Pasadena Unified School District, must complete an application online at www.edjoin.org. The application attachments must include: 1) Proof of completed education*: Awarded Associates degree or above from an accredited college/university
