Transition Services Coordinator

Program: Student Services

Description: This position supports coordination of transition services and activities for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

• Position requires a Bachelor's degree, special education preferred

• Two years of experience with transition age youth or adults with disabilities, preferred

• Experience working with businesses and community agencies

• Knowledge and/or experience with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft and Google suite of office products

• ?Must be highly organized, possess good communications skills, be highly confidential at all times, act as a team player, be flexible to work on multiple tasks, pay attention to detail, be able to learn new skills and deal with constant change

Terms: Full-time, 188 days/year

Salary: LIUEA Pay Scale (Bachelors Min $47,157/year; Masters Min $52,550/year) plus benefits*
