Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Transition-In Manager to join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Transition-In Manager develops, submits, gains approval, and executes the Transition-In Plan. Working with the Program Manager, they develop the required transition-in period documentation (e.g., Program Management Plan, Transition-In Plan, OPSEC SOP Plan); schedule and attend required and as-needed meetings to coordinate the transition effort; and manage corporate support, including human resources, recruiting, assessment and selection, and travel.

They monitor and report transition metrics to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring plan milestones are met or exceeded. They direct transition-in activities to support onboarding of new contract personnel. They work with recruiting and human resources to rapidly identify, vet, hire, onboard, and prepare staff for execution.

Lastly, they lead critical documentation development tasks, develop schedules and tasks, and organize detailed reviews to ensure time-based constraints are met. The Transition-In Manager is an SME demonstrating expertise in execution of Transition-In Plans. The Transition-In Manager supervises and mentors subordinate project and staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

  • A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 years of position-specific relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have an active an active Top Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $157,900-$263,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
