The TAY (Transition Age Youth) Peer Intern engages youth and young adults ages 16-25 in the Solano County TAY Services Program. The Peer Intern provides hope, one-on-one support, and mentorship to participants by sharing their own experience with recovery/resilience and expertise in navigating systems and programs such as STRTP, Wraparound services, Educational Systems, Juvenile Justice Systems, and Child Welfare Systems. The Peer Intern works collaboratively with other program staff to provide the best care and advocacy possible.
