Transition Advisor (Part-Time)

Come as you are and achieve better lives as part of the St. Louis Arc family of individuals in this vital part-time role of Transition Advisor - $18/hour. The Transition Advisor will work with individuals in a one to one ratio as well as facilitate virtual group classes on weekday afternoons/evenings between the hours of 1:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m depending on supported individuals availability (scheduled roughly 3-10 hours/week). Staff must reside around the Saint Louis Metro area to be eligible for this role.

What you will do:

Empower people to live their best life by providing inclusive and family centered supports

• Manage caseload with required 1:1 virtual sessions

• Provide personalized support that is aligned with programmatic goals and outcomes

• Implement and modify curriculum for classes

• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate classes based on setting goals, navigating resources and increasing independence

• Complete monthly evaluations for each individual on caseload

• Maintain and update activities and resources focused on transition-aged individuals

What we expect of you:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in education, human studies or a related field
• 2+ years working with transition age individuals (teens and young adults) with varying support needs
