Job Overview Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Provide follow-me service for transient aircraft (rotary wing, fighter, heavy military and commercial). Perform launch and recovery of transient aircraft. Maintain daily aircraft log. Perform daily Foreign Object Debris (FOD) inspections.

Perform monthly inspections to maintain de-icing fluid/ annotate log of usage document. Load and offload heavy aircraft utilizing 10K forklifts. Perform operation of all required aerospace ground equipment (AGE). Assist with parking plans for transient and exercise aircraft.

Coordinate in-flight-emergency response. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Mandatory:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of USAF experience. Formal training in aircraft maintenance.

Training requirements may be satisfied through AETC in-resident classes, Training Detachment (TD), Maintenance Training Flight (MTF), Mobile Training Team (MTT), AF Institute of Technology (AFIT), Career Develop Course (CDC), AF Engineering and Technical Services (AFETS), civilian institutions, Computer Based Training (CBT), Video Tele-Training (VTT), Regional Training Centers (RTC), Maintenance Qualification Centers (MQC) or any combination thereof. Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.   Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.

  Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.  Valid Alabama state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.   Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.

   Ability to read, write, and speak English. U.S. Citizenship.   Ability to obtain access to U.S.
