Overview

As part of the corporate strategy team, The Transformation Strategy Leader analyzes business needs, and then designs and execute projects to address them. The incumbent must possess strong analytical, financial modeling, and project management skills. Additionally, it will be required to build strong relationships across departments, and up and down the organizational hierarchy because they know that truly understanding the bank is essential to building and executing strategic plans.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Partner with business heads and senior leadership to: • Identify strategic opportunities and issues• Develop strategies for business growth and repositioning• Structure complex problems, facilitate decision-making, and guide high-value decisions and investments• Analyze strategic fit and support execution of acquisitions Strategic Planning: • Support and enhance the annual strategic planning process• Collaborate with financial planning, analysis, and risk management• Interface with business unit leaders• Develop strategic and analytical frameworks for specific markets, businesses, or competitive analysis• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic assignments.• Develop work plans, including project timelines and data requirements.• Conduct deep dives to assess business strategies and opportunities.• Perform in-depth research on key business drivers (credit, asset trends, cost structure, pricing, unit economics, product management, operations).• Update senior management on project progress.• Collaborate with IT and digital teams. Leadership and Team Building• Lead cross-functional teams to execute transformation initiatives.• Mentor and develop a team of change agents.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Innovation and Technology Integration• Leverage new technologies and digital tools for transformation.• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.• Integrate innovative solutions to enhance business processes and customer experiences

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience in strategic planning, change management, and project leadership.

  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation initiatives.

  • Experience with methodologies like Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma is a plus.

  • Ability to see the big picture and develop long-term plans. Strong analytical skills to assess the business environment and identify opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working in consulting or advisory roles is preferred (strong power point and excel skills are a must)

  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and guide teams. Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels. Experience with budgeting and forecasting.

  • Strong project management skills to oversee complex initiatives.

  • Understanding of relevant technologies and their impact on business processes.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.

  • Master's Degree in MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
