Under general supervision of the Director, develop, coordinate and deliver programs/services that support the persistence, retention and graduation of the general transfer population including reentry students (+25 years or older), student parents and other at-risk students. Oversees peer advisors from point of recruitment and hiring to peer training and supervising day-to-day operations of Transfer and Reentry Center (TRC) peer tasks and programming.
The incumbent functions under general direction and is expected to develop liaison relationships and partnerships with various campus stakeholders such as staff and program directors to administer and seamlessly deliver TRC services, and to engage robust student participation in TRC Center services. Responsibilities include planning, coordination, marketing and assessment of program services; coordination of outreach efforts; retention counseling of students who are at risk or in academic difficulty; and participation in team that develops curriculum and teaches student success workshops, and facilitates seminars and classes for the TRC Center. Contribute and participate in unit wide tasks including but not limited to committee service, advisory groups and initiatives that impact the delivery and quality of services that benefit the populations served by TRC and SASC/OEOES. The incumbent also oversees the Bernard Osher Reentry Scholarship Program and associated activities.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent experience/training.

Experience supervising student peers in a college or university setting.

Working knowledge of advising and counseling.

Understanding of the role of an academic support unit in a research university, coupled with knowledge of college student development and pedagogical theories, how it is practiced in a research university and related to veteran students.

Experience creating, implementing and maintaining marketing content and various social media platforms to reach a targeted audience.
Skill to manage budgets, monitor daily business expenditures and transactions and plan for long and short-range expenditures.
