Job Title Transcript and Records Analyst for OPS Posting Number S813P Classification Title
Analyzes transcripts and transfer credit for student entry and enrollment in the University. Reviews and responds to individual academic requests and concerns regarding transcript evaluation. Assists with graduation processing and provides customer service related to academic record and graduation requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned.
1.Perform review of transcripts for evaluation of transfer work and applicability of academic credit.
2.Evaluate military credit, college level exam scores and advanced placement for academic credit.
3.Evaluate course transfer approval requests for academic credit eligibility.
4.Provide assistance with entry of transfer work and variances on student transcripts.
5.Create and maintain transfer course equivalencies, including agreements with community colleges.
6.Aid in enrollment support, including admissions decisions, preliminary degree reviews, and new student processing.
7.Process student-initiated and administrative withdrawals.
8.Assist with processing readmits and program transfer petitions.
9.Maintain student records and enrollment for probation/suspension, non-attendance, financial clearance, and ceased-attending.
Provide assistance with graduation applications, degree evaluations, and degree posting.
Assist with researching, addressing, and responding to student concerns and requests.
Reflect excellent customer service in internal and external communications and notifications.
This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete office work assignments.

Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.

Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
