QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Two years office, administrative or related experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. Preferred: Associate's degree in a business related field and two years related administrative experience, or three years intermediate to advanced-level clerical, administrative, or related banking experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. Specific business area related experience. SKILLS and ABILITIES: Demonstrated word processing and spreadsheet software skills required, as well as Internet research abilities and good communication skills. Ability to keyboard 35 wpm required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively write routine reports and business correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization, clearly articulate ideas and facts. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
