Position Description

The Transaction Management Operator will be responsible for completion of day-to-day activity as per standards and ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties. He/she needs to ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLAs.. He/she should ensure that all first level escalations related to routine activities are responded to within the time frames pre-specified. Should take responsibility and act as backup for the Peers in his/her absence and share best practices with the team.

Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Debt Products:

  • Trades validation, enrichment, pre-matching, collateral management and market data updates

  • Processing of end of day routines into legacy systems

  • Answers to Compliance/AFC on judicial requests (SIMBA, others)

  • Act on breaks/discrepancies raised by Reconciliation in regards to daily Nostro, Depot, Accounting reconciliation reports

  • Support to Internal/External Audits

TF/FSC/Loans:

  • Registers of transactions into legacy system

  • Perform relevant embargo/AML, Dual Use of Goods checks + Preventive Crime Research (PCR)

  • Perform red flag checks under LC, Guarantees and Doc Collection Business

  • Escalate hits/red flags to relevant teams as per policies

  • Identify and book commissions paid

  • Receive instructions and monitor Credit approval from CRM

  • Client servicing (send advices to clients reporting FX closing, interests, due amount, expiry date, etc.)

Cash:

  • Setup of current account fees to be charged from clients

  • Update of monthly Bear Trap into legacy systems

  • Daily checking of current accounts holding negative balances for further follow-up with involved clients and/or Client Services

  • Setup of Collection portfolio and fees to be charged to the client

  • Monitoring of daily settlement between Deutsche Bank and Correspondent Bank

  • End-to-end monitoring of all T&U processing

  • Securities Asset Services & Custody activities

Experience/ Exposure:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Fluent in Portuguese language (written/verbal) and English

  • Relevant experience in one or more specific operational/product areas: expected knowledge on FIC (Fixed Income & Currency) and/or GTB (Trade Finance, FSC, Loans, Cash Management & Securities) products

  • Desirable knowledge of the Brazilian market

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving

  • Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers & team members

  • Able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization

Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * FX Derivatives (OTC) * Sending and monitoring of Settlement Invoices - morning activity * Collateral Management with clients – Follow up with clients, follow up with TSY Desk, monitoring and information feeding to CMV-JAX * Book unwinds on Sales behalf due to a lack of functionality in the booking system and perform deal maintenances needed during the lifecycle of the trades * Cancel trades on RMS and SBS when requested by Sales Desk or Operations * Apply fixings in all trades required via Autobahn fixing tool on a daily basis. 4-eyes check is always executed to make sure that all trades are with correct fixings applied * Manual fixing process for non-deliverable forwards with 3 currencies involved * Constantly monitor the emAdapter tool during the day to ensure all trades are flowing correctly from booking system (RMS) to legacy systems (SBS) * Perform cross-checks for accrual validations * FX Derivatives (Listed) * Daily Matching of values (SBS vs Clearing reports) - morning activity * Sending of Settlement Reports ("Mapas") to Custody Team * Broker Fees Matching (by e-mail, based on information from SBS)- morning activity * Investigation of Broker Fees Matching (Ad-Hoc) * Upload of B3 files into SBS - cut off time: 7pm * End of Day Matching ("Batimento do Médio") - cut off time: 7pm (SP time) * Broker Fees Monthly Matching – Monthly * Broker Fees Reports to India – Monthly * Broker Fees Split Report to Finance – Monthly * Monitor PLD Plus system during the day to ensure that all Listed Futures were matched with the counterparty in a timely manner and cleared correctly * Fixed Income (Certificate of Deposits): * Sending and monitoring of Settlement Invoices - morning activity * Sending and monitoring of Settlement Invoices – Intraday activity * Validation of Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives data required for FATCA semi-annually reports to local IRS (Aquilla versus ChipShop) * FX Spot – Commercial, Financial, Arbitrages, Interbanks * FX Spot – Arbitrages * Monitoring of automated pre-matching between MT300 (sent by DBLDN) versus internal ticket in ChipSHOP booked by Trading Desk.
