Job Summary:
The Transaction Coordinator serves in a dual role capacity by assisting with both starts and closings for the division. This position is responsible for working closely with and providing a communication link between the sales managers, sales representatives, preferred lender and Title Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the daily starts and closings meetings gather and update all pertinent information

  • Review and distribute all daily starts with Operations leadership

  • Coordinate all necessary documents, appraisals, and inspections with lenders on pending loans

  • Maintain data entry in Starts and Closings reports

  • Coordinate and manage paperwork of all HUDs

  • Manage pending sale process. Track sales reporting and open escrow.

  • Coordinate contract process, including auditing of all contracts.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Minimum of a high school education; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of builder contract coordination experience or direct mortgage/lending experience.

  • Exceptional organizational capability, including the ability to multi-task

  • Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships

  • Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other's ideas, and a willingness to cooperate

  • Makes quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metrics

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Work Requirements

  • Work 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessary

  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company

Leadership Expectations: * Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates. * Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. * Serve as an Eddie Bauer advocate in the industry and marketplace. Education/Experience Required: * B.A./B.S. Degree. * 0-2 years' experience in supporting email marketing or other analytical online marketing. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Database experience is a plus). * Basic knowledge of email marketing strategies, and database integrity best practices. * Strong analytic skills; experience with software such as Adobe Analytics a plus. * Strong technical skills (HTML experience desired). * High attention to detail, adaptive to change, and strong organizational skills. * Ability to efficiently and effectively take direction and prioritize work accordingly. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Basic project coordination skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
