GP Strategies Corporation has an opening for a Training Coordinator. This is a full-time, benefitted, position. This is primarily a remote position but we are seeking local candidates to Milwaukee as the person will assist with in-person training as needed.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Training Coordinator to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves coordinating and managing various training programs, providing administrative support, managing learning management systems (LMS), assisting with the facilitation of onboarding programs, and promoting learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and have a passion for learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Coordination:

  • Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate sales training programs, including scheduling locations, times, and room setups.

  • Facilitator Coordination: Work with class facilitators on logistical details to ensure smooth program execution.

In-Person Support: Greet and assist facilitators and learners

  • Logistics Management: Coordinate training venues, including arranging food and beverage services, ensuring access requirements are met, and managing other logistical needs.

Administrative Support:

  • Class Evaluations: Manage and process class evaluations using Smartsheet in collaboration with the L&D Operations team.

  • Roster Management: Maintain and update rosters in Smartsheet and the LMS.

LMS Administration and Learning Technologies:

  • Troubleshooting: Resolve access issues and technical problems related to the LMS and other learning technologies.

  • Testing: Conduct testing of exercises and courses to ensure functionality and effectiveness.

  • Metrics and Reporting: Run and analyze usage and completion metrics, update account information, and generate reports as needed.

Facilitation Assistance:

  • Onboarding Support: Assist with the facilitation of new hire onboarding programs, including virtual instructor-led sessions.

Communication and Promotion

  • Evaluation Reporting: Provide evaluation results to vendors, facilitators, and L&D program leads

  • Website Maintenance: Collaborate with the site administrator to maintain the commercial Learning & Development website, ensuring content is current.

  • Marketing Materials: Create course and program marketing materials, maintain a calendar of classes, and ensure training catalogs are up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in learning and development coordination or a similar role.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet, LMS platforms, and other relevant technologies preferred

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple tasks effectively.
