The training instructor will supervise a caseload of individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The staff will record documentation on each individual daily; assist with implementing goals and provide training based on the individual support plan.

The staff will be responsible for maintaining Electronic Health Records. The staff will assist with meal time feeding, personal care, and toileting may be required. Lifting is a requirement. Staff must maintain training requirements.

Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

Performs end to‐end learning and development. Evaluate training and learning outcomes in relation to functional and/or technical training activities. Job Specific Duties: Candidate will be working as a team member within the IT organization of the Georgia DOT and report to a Team Leader/Supervisor. Adhere to the priorities, objectives, and guidance of Team Leader and IT management. Participate in IT Projects to design and develop learning materials. Produce effective training presentations, tutorials, instructor and student guides, lesson plans/exercises in multiple media and formats suitable to course audience. Create, review, and update training materials and documentation based on user feedback, classroom surveys, IT version updates, and IT support tickets. Proactively and effectively communicate with Team Leader and IT management. Coordinate, and communicate training schedules with end users and stakeholders. Solicit classroom enrollment and maintain class information/user registration within (Oracle) Learning Management System. Collect and maintain training data to support department key performance indicators. Make arrangements for external vendor provided training at Georgia DOT training centers. Conduct training courses, customer webinars, on-site customer training, and user group sessions. Establish effective relationships throughout the organization, both within IT and across business units/customers/stakeholders to identify/address gaps in user training. Facilitate training for end users through a variety of mediums, which includes but not limited to classroom settings, one-on-one, and online methods. Remain knowledgeable about Georgia DOT IT applications and business strategies as related to training materials and courses. Provide user training support with IT product launches and go-lives. Travel to Georgia DOT business locations (within State of Georgia) to conduct training. Training material software to be used includes, but is not limited to: * Microsoft Office Professional * Adobe Captivate * Trivantis Lectora (including Camtasia) * Training materials may include, but is not limited to: * Quick Reference Guides * Instructor Manuals * User Manuals * Videos * Training content to be developed will include, but is not limited to: * Georgia DOT developed in-house software and systems - Training will be provided upon hire * COTS applications implemented by Georgia DOT * GAMS * SiteManager * SharePoint * Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) * Cell phone/mobile ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience in a support role providing coaching, mentoring or related job duties and knowledge of functional business area where training is to be provided.
