TRAINING SYSTEMS ANALYST

Purpose:

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Training Systems Analyst to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, VA.

Job Description:

• Analyzes surface training system requirements in order to determine overall facility requirements.

• Applies understanding of MILCON and MILCON sustainment processes in order to assist in the management of combat systems training facilities and the support of those facilities over their service life.

• Assesses material condition of facilities in order to articulate requirements for both incorporation of new systems in facilities and the sustainment and operation of those facilities.

Qualifications:

• Must have 6 years' Experience in reviewing training system documents to identify impacts to facilities, training space, HVAC, electrical, water, air, etc.

• Must have ability to analyze, investigate, and develop training plans for MILCON, Sustainment, Restoration and/or facility modernization projects.

• Must have ability to initiate, track status, close facility projects in available databases.

• Must have ability to provide on-site facility assessments.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Travel Requirements:

• Minimal travel required.

Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Communicating with others to exchange information and repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Subject to outside environmental conditions (extreme cold/heat), subject to noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions (affect the respiratory system), frequently work in close quarters and/or function in narrow aisles or passageways (areas that could cause claustrophobia.
