At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Work closely with client subject matter experts and functional team members to create instructor led and web based training materials to support an Oracle Financials implementation.

  • Work closely with the Training Lead and another training support resource.

  • Experience with Oracle UPK and developing training for Oracle is a plus.

  • Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

  • Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

  • Capability of learning how to use Oracle's User Productivity Kit (UPK) will be a requirement.

  • Ability to work closely with client resources and the Training Lead and other training support resource to develop instructor led and web based training materials while using UPK.

  • Experience creating training materials including curriculum, quick reference guides, and job aids a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.

  • U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.

  • Travel may be required.

  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.

  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.

  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.

Required Skills * Ability to troubleshoot a variety of Windows/Macintosh desktop configuration and application problems. * Understanding basic browser troubleshooting. * Knowledge of PDF files and Adobe Acrobat, and Reader. * Basic knowledge of digital imaging principles and scanners Preferred Skills * Customer service experience * Use of ticketing system * Use of IVR phone system * Use of knowledge base * Typing speed 40 wpm Degree Required/Equivalent Experience w/o degree * Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience 1-5 years.
