The Training Specialist assists and facilitates the Company's people development and training function, with the objective of growing and positioning team members in accordance with their strengths, equipping them for both their current positions as well as future opportunities. This role is primarily responsible for delivering company training programs and workshops to employees and managers, creating and facilitating a first-class employee onboarding development experience, coordinating details for all aspects of Team Services (Human Resources) internal training events, identifying organizational needs and coordinating training to meet those needs, facilitating effective utilization of the company's goal management and performance review tools and resources, and coordinating the employee Career Development Planning process.
Principal Accountabilities:
1.Professional Development
Ensures delivery of training programs that help new team members rapidly assimilate into the Blue Trust work environment from a cultural, technological, and technical perspective
Monitors the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results
Collects feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation
Training, Conferences, and Events: In collaboration and coordination with Director, Human Resources and other key stakeholders, responsible for numerous Blue Trust distinctive internal training events including planning, coordination, communication, content review, IT and audio/visual support, project management, and implementation. Events include but are not limited to:
o The Conclaveo CSA Connectiono Legacy Summito CWS Trainingo Leadership Development Programo Monthly Manager Training sessions
Communicates and facilitates roll-out of required state-specific, regulatory, Compliance, and Human Resources corporate training initiatives such as Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML), Sexual Harassment training, Code of Conduct, and Information Security and Data Protection
Identifies needs and makes recommendations for additional training offerings such as supervisory/ management training, work skills training, Lean Belt / Six Sigma, annual ethics training for certifications, interviewing skills for managers, HRIS (Paylocity) training, team building, etc.
Researches and recommends appropriate training programs available through existing resources like Bridge, BizLibrary, The CFP Board, and Kingdom Advisors
Oversees and Coordinates facilitation of New Hire Orientation and sessions for new employees
Works in concert with Compensation Analyst to update Intranet resources and provide content management support in training and development areas, among others
Assists with education and coordination of employee and client assessments
Manages content and implementation of training programs through multiple Learning Management Systems
Works closely with Director, Human Resources and Media Development on Learning Management System content: recommends, implements, and manages a drip-feeding content delivery method for new employees
Conducts annual audit of Learning Management System content and partners with owners to update or archive content as needed
Develops materials, content, and collateral to support training initiatives
In collaboration with the HR Training Coordinator, assists with Continuing Education process and facilitates approval requests for CE credit through appropriate professional organizations (CWS, CFP, FPA, etc.)
2.Employee Experience and Career Development
Communicates and manages the On-boarding experience for new employees; ensures new employees are assigned and complete required new hire and compliance training through assigned Learning Management Systems
In collaboration with the HR Training Coordinator, ensures implementation of Career Development Plans and collaborates with HR leadership and key stakeholders to identify/develop programs to meet identified needs/action items
Contributes to new training program design and existing program enhancements
Develops and creates lesson plans and training aids
Coordinates with HR and executive leadership to encourage and facilitate quarterly goal-setting process (EOS) for all employees, and provides training collateral and instructions to ensure Quarterly 6-5-5 Meetings and Annual Performance Review meetings are completed in accordance with company's schedule
Works closely with Director, Human Resources, Sr. Manager, HR Operations, and Compensation Analyst to understand and facilitate consistent application of compensation philosophy and practices tied to performance, attainment of designations, and completion of training assignments and objectives
Works closely with Compensation Analyst to report on completion of annual performance reviews and financial plans tied to variable compensation and Annual Incentive Plan payments
Supports Employee Recognition Programs such as Service Awards; responsible for program communications/education
In concert with Director, Human Resources, assists with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, specifically as it relates to company events
3.Other

Qualifications:

Education, Experience & Skills:
2-4 years prior experience in Human Resources or Training/Professional Development required, with additional Event Management experience preferred
Human Resources Generalist experience required
Bachelor's degree required; degree in Human Resources, management, or a related field a plus
