Summary:

Chenega Professional & Technical Services (CPTS) is seeking a Training Specialist II to support the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Office of Surveillance and Epidemiology (OSE).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Work with SMEs and senior managers to assess training needs of FDA staff.

  • Develop training materials based on FDA policy and procedural documents.

  • Deliver training and distribute training materials after they have been approved by senior managers to FDA staff.

Non-Essential Duties:

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and at least 5 years of experience in the public health field.

  • Previous experience in developing training materials.

Work Environment:

  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
