Training Specialist

Our client, a $1B manufacturer with locations throughout the US, is seeking a Training Specialist.

Position.

·       There are already curricula in place for all programs from entry-level, service, engineering, and leadership development which must be tweaked and formalized for each program.

·        Some content will be outsourced or provided by the various departments; some will be personally delivered.

·       Will be the coordinator for all training programs. Limited travel to other sites on occasion.

·       Must have excellent communication and coordination skills and will be dealing with management, executives, and vendors to provide all training programs.

Requirements

• Must have excellent communication and coordination skills

• BS/BA Degree
• Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
• 1-2 years of professional training experience required (i.e., content creation, needs analysis, and training delivery).
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles.
• Solid understanding of current training modalities (virtual, e-learning and AI)
• Strong business writing skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• High energy and engaging; enjoys working and interacting with people.
• Highly collaborative; strong customer-service orientation
• Very hands-on; comfortable with handling details and administrative duties.
• Strong listening skills
